This itinerary is quite a solid itinerary. I’m going to list some places that I think are optional, that shouldn’t be visited. Especially if there is traffic jam and your itinerary is getting tight, it’s better to just skip the optional ones.
Notes too, description length of journey at each destination it is the length of the journey from the previous place to that place. Because this is an itinerary, so the points are in order from the first place to the end.
Itinerary Jogja 3 Days 2 Nights: First Day
Note: Travel time number 1 is calculated from Jl. Malioboro
1. Breakfast – Gudeg Yu Djum
Length of journey: 4 minutes
Suggested Departure: pk. 07.30 WIB
Wow, delicious food to start your day is sure to make the mood for the day to be good. My advice on the first day, you guys try the gudeg at Gudeg Yu Djum. The location is still very close to the city center.
The mainstay menu is predictable, namely gudeg which is incomparably delicious. You know, a little vent, a few years ago I went to a Javanese culinary exhibition at one of the malls in Jakarta. As soon as I found Gudeg Yu Djum’s booth, I didn’t hesitate to buy it because I’ve tried it and it’s really delicious. But it’s still much better if you eat directly at the original place, in Jogja, right?
2. Jomblang Cave
Length of journey: 1 hour 30 minutes
Price: 450,000-1,000,000/person with operator and equipment
First disclaimer, this tourist spot is not suitable for children. So if you go with the kids, it’s better to go straight to number 4. Just continue eating at number 3, then just continue to number 5.
This place is really really great! You definitely won’t regret coming here even though you have to pay a fee that is quite expensive, especially for the size of Jogja. But the price is worth the view and the experience you get.
At the beginning, we will be lowered by local residents with ropes vertically to the bottom of the cave. It’s really safe, let’s go down together with the guide there. After arriving at the bottom of the cave, we walked into the cave for 15 minutes until we came to a good area for the photo.
Tips for you guys, wear comfortable shoes, get ready for clothes, pants, shoes, everything is dirty. If there is, use a waterproof protector for the smartphone that you carry too, to avoid unwanted things from happening to your smartphone.
3. Lunch – Noodles, Soto & Fried Chicken Mbah Noto
Length of journey: 30 minutes
The cheap price and the taste can be pitted, that really can be Mbah Noto’s catchphrase. Don’t be surprised, even though it’s in an area a bit outside the center of Jogja, it’s always busy.
For those of you who have never tried it, you really have to come here at least once to try it. Guaranteed to be many times. Ha ha. The mainstay of the menu is the fried chicken, which is spicy and makes you addicted. The other menus are also delicious, only if I was told to choose one, I chose the fried chicken.
4. Goa Pindul
Length of journey: 20 minutes
Price: 10,000/person (enter the area), 40,000/person (enter Goa Pindul)
For those of you who often go to Jogja, you will understand that this cave is really addictive. This cave has a greenish river flow. Actually, in my opinion, it’s not just the scenery that makes me addicted. The scenery is really good, but what makes me want to come back again is enjoying the view by riding a buoy.
Yes, like the photo above, you can walk through the beautiful cave by riding a buoy. So it’s good, it’s really fun because you get a float on a flowing river, you get refreshing because the scenery is really beautiful and most importantly there will definitely be funny experiences there with the people closest to you.
5. Option A: Panguk Kediwung Hill
Length of journey: 1 hour
Actually this spot is really good at sunrise. But because I know all of us, or actually me, it’s really hard to wake up early, so I put it in fifth place. But calm even if you come in the afternoon or a bit late, the view is still really good.
With a very cheap price, you can feel the taste above the clouds. More or less like the photo above. Once there, it feels very calm. So sometimes when I go there besides taking photos, I also enjoy the scenery around for a few minutes before Cao returns to his next destination.
5. Option B: Sri Gethuk Waterfall
Length of journey: 50 minutes
Why in number 5 I gave two options, first because the time is not enough but there are many good places nearby, second for those who bring children and skip number 2 so they still have many tourist attractions.
Well, this is, of course, different from the previous option. For those of you who have never or rarely been to a waterfall, you should try it here. Moreover, for the waterfall, I was given 2 choices, the first choice was walking and the second option, which of course I chose, was to take a boat by paying 10,000 rupiah to be delivered from the entrance to the waterfall and vice versa.
Well, if it’s beauty, you don’t have to ask, it’s also visible in the photo. Anyway, from there, it just feels refreshed. There’s just one tip, don’t go there after it rains, because the water becomes cloudy and brown because of the soil.
6. Dinner – HeHa Sky View
Length of journey: 35 minutes from option A; 37 minutes from option B
The first day we closed with a relaxed one. Dinner at HeHa Sky View. In addition to many contemporary photo spots, the place is really big! So this is suitable for closing the day, because after this there are no other tourist destinations, you can freely explore this place.
The view is also really good, you can see the city of Jogja from a height. Here, apart from the main restaurant, there are also food stands inside. There are many snacks to try. For those who really like culinary, you must come here so you can try many kinds of food!
